About the Site:

E. Charlton Fortune’s life was interesting and she was one of the few true Impressionists who worked in Northern California.  This site will be expanded as time allows to better educate collectors and art enthusiasts about the breadth of her artistic career.

About the Author:

Jeffrey Morseburg grew up in the art business and his family sold the work of a wide variety of artists, both American and European.  He was a student of Theodore Lukits (1897-1992) who was the last of the Plein-Air Painters of the 1920s. Today, Morseburg is a curator, appraiser, writer. archivist and dealer in American and European Art.
